Cloves
Cloves are the aromatic dried flower buds of the clove tree, Syzygium aromaticum. They grow in tropical climates. The clove tree is a medium-sized symmetrically shaped tree with smooth grey bark. Fully grown trees are usually 15 – 20m tall. Cloves have a distinctive sweet, warming, and slightly medicinal flavor that makes them a popular spice in many cuisines around the world.
Culinary Uses
